Reciprocating grate is suitable for the entire range of fuels. Because of the closed feed motion of the entire grate bar series, it is insensitive to undesired substances which reach the grate through the fuel feed. The stroke speed can be set independently for each drive cylinder, and the undergrate air can be controlled in sections. The air-cooled reciprocating grate is structured like a staircase from fixed and moving grate bar series. The grate castings are made of proprietary high temperature grade cast iron with chromium as the main alloying element. Fuel feeding rate can be easily controlled using Ram Feeder. Ashes will be removed by the automated ash removal system at the end of the grate.
